Presentation Information - Psycho-Pass
Psycho-Pass is an excellent example of the cyberpunk genre, as it touches down on prime aspects of a cryptically plausible dystopian future. I would talk about the writer of the show, Gen "Urobutcher" Urobuchi, and how he influences the horribly dark direction this anime goes. The anime delves into the future of society and how such a 'perfect' world impacts their psychological health.
I also want to talk about the significance of Akane Tsunemori in the story, such as how she changes from a nervous and innocent newbie in the police force, into this hard-boiled and mature law enforcer because of all the deranged events she experiences due to Makishima's influence upon the Sybil System and everyone in society.
I want to go into the function of the Sybil System and how it has affected those living in dystopian Tokyo, as well as how it truly works.
I would also go a little into some Western influences on Psycho-Pass, like the film Gattaca.
